Shopify
Connect Shopify with an Admin API token or Shopify OAuth.
Shopify is under Shop and orders.
Connect
- Open Connected tools → Shopify → Connect.
- Choose Personal or Workspace.
- Pick Admin API access token or Shopify account (OAuth).
- For a token, enter the Store domain (for example
acme.myshopify.com) and paste the token from the Shopify admin. For OAuth, continue to Shopify.
For a token, create a custom app in the Shopify admin under Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps, and give it these Admin API scopes:
read_productswrite_productsread_ordersread_customers
Without read_customers, every order read fails, because orders include the customer's name and email.
OAuth is hidden if this install has no Shopify client. The token method stays.
Example prompts
Type one into a chat, or use it as a schedule's task.
- "List yesterday's orders that are paid but not shipped yet."
- "Show me order #1043 with its line items and any note on it."
- "Set the product 'Linen shirt, blue' to draft and add the tag 'autumn-sale'."
Approvals
Reading products and orders runs without a prompt. Creating a product and updating a product ask first.
If something goes wrong
- Every order read fails: the token is missing
read_customers. Add the scope to the custom app and paste the new token.
For problems every tool shares, see If something goes wrong.
