Stedia

Outlook

Connect Outlook mail and calendar with a Microsoft account.

Outlook uses Microsoft Graph OAuth. If it is missing from the catalog, this install has not set the Microsoft Graph app.

Connect

  1. Open Connected tools → Outlook → Connect.
  2. Choose Personal or Workspace.
  3. Click Continue to Microsoft Outlook and approve access.

Stedia asks Microsoft for access to read and send mail (Mail.ReadWrite, Mail.Send) and to read and change calendars (Calendars.ReadWrite).

Workspace connections use one person's mailbox

A Workspace connection acts as the mailbox of whoever authorizes it, not as a shared mailbox. Everyone who uses it reads and sends as that person.

Example prompts

Type one into a chat, or use it as a schedule's task.

  • "Summarize the emails I got from customers today and flag anything urgent."
  • "Reply to the last email from our tax advisor and say I'll send the documents by Thursday."
  • "Put a 30-minute call with anna@example.com on my calendar next Tuesday at 10:00."

Approvals

Reading runs without a prompt: list and open mail, list mail folders, open an attachment of up to 3 MB, list calendars and events. An opened attachment shows in the chat as a file you can save to Resources or download.

These actions ask first:

  • Mail: create a draft, send an email, reply to an email, move an email to another folder.
  • Calendar: create, update or cancel an event.

Drafts, emails and events can carry up to 10 Stedia files. A draft or email takes up to 2.5 MB of files in total, an event up to 2.5 MB per file. Drafts and emails can also use an email layout.
