Google Tasks
Connect Google Tasks with your Google account.
Google Tasks is OAuth only. If it is missing from the catalog, this install has not set the Tasks client.
Connect
- Open Connected tools → Google Tasks → Connect.
- Choose Personal or Workspace.
- Click Continue to Google Tasks and approve access.
What the agent can do
Read your task lists and the tasks on them, create a task list, add tasks, change a title, notes or due date, tick a task off, reopen it, delete it, and nest or reorder tasks within a list.
Google Tasks stores a due date, not a due time. Ask for "due Friday" and you get Friday; a time of day is not something the provider keeps.
Example prompts
Type one into a chat, or use it as a schedule's task.
- "What is on my 'Office' task list that is due this week?"
- "Add a task 'Call back Müller GmbH about the offer' to my default list, due Friday."
- "Mark 'Send VAT documents' as done."
Approvals
Reading runs without a prompt. Creating a task list, and adding, changing, completing, deleting and moving a task ask first. Deleting cannot be undone because Google Tasks has no trash, so complete a task instead.
