Single sign-on
Owners on Business or Enterprise can add their company's email domains, so their team joins on its own.
Open Settings → Single sign-on. Only owners see it.
Single sign-on comes with Business and Enterprise. On Pro the card says so and offers Upgrade to Business. If the plan drops below Business later, your domains are kept, but nobody joins through them, and Require Google or Microsoft is not enforced, until you upgrade again.
What people see
Nothing new on /login. Your team clicks Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft as usual. Anyone whose email is on one of your verified domains joins your workspace automatically, unless they already belong to another workspace. You do not have to invite them first.
Only accounts your company manages join this way: Google Workspace accounts and Microsoft work accounts. Someone who signs in with a personal Google or Microsoft account under a company address can still sign in, but does not join. Invite them instead. Signing in with email and password never joins by domain.
Set it up
- Under Add your domain, enter your email domain, such as
acme.com, and click Add. - Stedia shows a TXT record under Publish the DNS record. Add it to your domain's DNS.
- Click Check verification. DNS changes can take a while. If the record is not found yet, try again in a few minutes. Nobody joins until the domain is verified.
Once a domain is verified, the card lists your domains. Click Add another domain for a second one, such as acme.de. Subdomains of a verified domain, such as eu.acme.com, are covered.
A domain belongs to one workspace. If another workspace verified it first, Stedia says so. Contact support to move it.
Require Google or Microsoft
Once a domain is verified, turn on Require Google or Microsoft. From then on, people at your domains can only sign in with a company Google or Microsoft account. Signing in or signing up with a password, or with a personal Google or Microsoft account, is refused. Sessions that are already open run until they expire.
To keep you from locking yourself out, Stedia only lets you turn it on once you have signed in with your own company Google or Microsoft account. Removing your last verified domain turns it off.
Remove a domain
Click Remove next to the domain. People at that domain stop joining your workspace. Existing members keep their access.
User provisioning (SCIM)
Below single sign-on sits User provisioning. It will add, update and deactivate members from your identity provider with SCIM. It is marked Coming soon and cannot be set up yet.
